Martin
Lister, producer, programmer, musician
and composer, was born in Widnes
Cheshire, England.
I started playing piano aged
10. Moved to London at 17 with my band ROOM FOR HUMANS
and played a Yamaha CS-10 and a Vox 'insta –piano'! (synth
pop rules!)
Did lots of gigs and recordings in and around west London.
I have worked with lots of bands and also signed a deal with
EMI in 1986 with the band THE CONGRESS.
Have since toured / recorded or written with Beverly Knight,
Paul Carrack, Angie Brown, Peter Andre, Julia Fordham,
Alphaville, Perfect Day, CJ Lewis, Darkman, 400 Blows, Edwin
Starr, Gabrielle, Angie Giles, The Decoders, Colourblind
(Denmark), Christine Collister and many others. [see
artists]
In 2006 I did my first film soundtrack for 'True True
Lie' and a 5.1 surround sound mix. Music by Dashiell Rae [www.temptracks.com].
At the beginning of 2007 I finished the production of THE
DECODERS album 'CELLOPHANE VEIL' and we are
currently setting up a release and management. The first
single 'CRASH AND BURN' will be released soon along
with a video produced by Darren and Louise Cook, which
features some serious CGI work!

The album was written by me, Vocalist Blake Feehan and
Drummer Jon Flint.
More new tracks are being put
together at the moment and we have started playing shows
with new members, Justin Lee and Luis Panini on guitars.
I
am now on 'bass duties' live, which is lots of fun, though I
have not played bass much since I was 18!
October 2007, started rehearsing and recording with
Glenn Aitken, who’s a talented singer/songwriter recently
signed to MPL, Paul McCartney’s publishing Company.

This will continue through to the end of November.
